WE MET OUR GOAL OF RAISING ENOUGH MONEY TO ORDER THE PANELS FOR THE HOUSE!
The panels will be constructed by LaValley’s, delivered to the site in late March, and installed on the foundation so volunteer work can be started.
Our next fundraising goal will be to raise the necessary funds to complete the work on the house. Our Construction Committee is currently putting together the estimate of what that amount will be.
Once the shell of the house is delivered and in place, we plan to have volunteer labor work alongside our general contractor and other skilled professionals to help complete the house. When we have signed the contract with LaValleys for the shell (early 2023) and have an estimated delivery date, we will volunteer opportunities and work days posted on our website.
We view this home as a community project for a family in the community. We can each do some part to make this dream a reality.
We have already had a number of local business - from lawyers to contractors to community organizations - donate or offer to donate their services to help us complete this project. If you would like to donate services please be in touch with us to discuss what is needed. Thank you!
